- thomaswilton@yahoo.com CHICAGO – “A Parallelogram,” a disarming new play by Bruce Norris debuting at Steppenwolf Theatre, conceives of a parallel universe to ours, one not only existing on a different plane but also years into the future. Matt Charlier isn’t a veteran, but that hasn’t stopped him from supporting troops in a big way. Charlier is the northern Illinois state coordinator for Warriors’ Watch, a motorcycle group that honors soldiers with parade-style events. The group does everything from homecomings to send-offs to mug-and-hugs.
Charlier recently chatted with reporter Crystal Lindell about the organization, the reactions he gets from those in uniform, and treating troops like rock stars. Illinois Road, in Lake Forest. July 20, 2010 ANTIOCH – Railroad crossings on North Avenue and Route 83 in Antioch will close for repairs beginning at 7 a.m. Thursday, July 22.
